FitCutter

Your YouTube channel is your product

A product layer for the videos you already have. No re-edits. No migration. No new platform.

FitCutter is a Chrome extension — one click, from Google’s own store

Free for your viewers — no account, no sign-up, nothing to pay. It runs on the videos already on your channel.

  1. You, content creator

Tag your videos once: rest, equipment, tools

  2. Your viewers

They install the free extension, set their preferences, and log their daily workouts in a calendar with full progress analysis

  3. Every workout after that

It plays their way, in your colours, with your offer one tap away — on every video on your channel, tagged or not

Course platforms charge a monthly fee and a cut of what you make. Building an app costs tens of thousands and a year you don’t have. FitCutter is a flat $15 to $25 — about what one member of your own community pays you.

Let’s talk

The questions worth asking first

Does FitCutter change or re-upload my video?

No. Your file is never touched. Tags are metadata stored against the video ID, so the upload, the URL and the view count stay exactly as they are.

Do my viewers have to pay?

No. Viewers only need the free FitCutter extension — no sign-up, no account, and nothing to pay on their end. The subscription is yours, for tagging your own channel.

What do viewers without the extension see?

Your video, exactly as you published it. Nothing is overlaid and nothing is skipped: the tags only do anything for someone who has the extension installed.

Does this affect my YouTube analytics or monetisation?

Your video, its URL and its ads are untouched, so monetisation works as it always did. Retention does reflect what people actually watch — a viewer who skips an exercise has genuinely watched less of that video. Rests do not: the video keeps playing under the rest timer.

Can I tag videos I published years ago?

Yes. Tagging works on anything already on your channel, which is the point — your back catalogue becomes the product without re-editing or re-uploading a thing.

Does my branding wait until I have tagged a video?

No — and this is the part creators tend to miss. Your branding and your offer belong to your channel, not to individual videos, so the moment you save them they are live on everything you have ever published: the badge over the player, the card in the sidebar, your offer button and your links. A viewer who opens a five-year-old video you will never get round to tagging still sees them. Tagging adds the skip controls on top; the promotion is already running.

Do I have to do the tagging myself?

No. Your channel passkey is the only credential the extension needs, so you can hand it to an editor or an assistant and they will segment your videos from their own machine — without your Google login and without access to your dashboard. It is how most creators clear a back catalogue. Regenerate the passkey when they are done and their access ends on the spot; everything they published stays live.

What happens to my tags if I cancel?

They are paused, not deleted. Your videos go back to playing normally, and returning to a paid plan restores every tag instantly.
