1. Overview
At FitCutter, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy applies to creator subscription services only - the FitCutter Chrome extension is free for viewers and involves no payment.
All payments are processed through Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for FitCutter transactions. Paddle handles all billing, tax collection, and refund processing. Your credit card statement will display charges from “Paddle.com”.
2. Free 15-Day Trial
Every new creator account receives a free 15-day trial. A credit card is required to start the trial via Paddle; you will not be charged until the trial period ends:
- Full access to all creator features during the trial (tagging rest zones, movements, and equipment)
- Payment information is collected at sign-up by Paddle but no charge is made during the 15-day trial
- If you do not continue with a paid plan when the trial ends, your tags will be paused (hidden from viewers) but not deleted
- You can restore your tags at any time by subscribing to a paid plan
Important: Since no charge is made during the 15-day trial period, there is nothing to refund if you cancel before the trial ends. We encourage you to fully explore all features during this time to ensure the Service meets your needs.
3. Refund Policy
You may request a full refund within 14 days of any payment - whether it is your first subscription charge or a renewal. No reason is required.
All refund requests made within the 14-day window will be honoured unconditionally. Refunds are processed by Paddle and will typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
4. How to Request a Refund
Method 1: Through Paddle (Recommended)
Paddle, our payment processor, provides a self-service refund option:
- Locate your payment confirmation email from Paddle
- Click on the receipt link in the email
- On the receipt page, look for the refund request option
- Follow the prompts to submit your refund request
Method 2: Contact Us Directly
You can contact us directly to request a refund:
- Email: Send your refund request to [email protected]
- Include your account email and the Paddle transaction ID or receipt
- We will process your request within 2–3 business days
5. Cancellation vs. Refund
5.1 Cancellation
Cancelling your subscription is different from requesting a refund:
- Cancellation stops future monthly charges but does not refund the current billing period
- You retain access to creator features until the end of your current paid month
- After the paid period ends, your tags will be paused (hidden from viewers) but not deleted
- You can restore your tags and creator access at any time by re-subscribing to a paid plan
5.2 Cancellation Process
To cancel your subscription:
- Locate your payment confirmation or receipt email from Paddle
- Click the subscription management link in the email
- Follow the prompts on Paddle’s portal to cancel your subscription
- You will receive a confirmation email from Paddle
Note: To avoid being charged for the next month, cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date.
6. Paddle Seller of Record
Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for all FitCutter transactions. This means:
- Paddle is the official seller and handles all payment processing
- Paddle is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable taxes
- Paddle manages refunds and chargebacks according to their policies
- Your credit card statement will show the charge from "Paddle.com"

7. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or credit card company:
- Please contact us first at [email protected] to resolve the issue before filing a chargeback
- Chargebacks may result in immediate account suspension
- A chargeback fee may be applied in accordance with Paddle's policies
- Disputed chargebacks that are found in our favour may result in permanent account termination
We are committed to working with you to find a fair solution and encourage direct communication before initiating a chargeback.
8. Account Data After Refund
If you receive a refund and your subscription ends:
- Your tags will be paused (hidden from viewers) but your account and all workout annotations are retained
- You can re-subscribe at any time to instantly restore your tags and creator access
- Your viewer features (free extension) continue to work normally
If you want your account and all data permanently deleted, please submit a deletion request to [email protected].
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Changes will not affect refund requests for purchases made before the policy change.
